The Kids Hope program at Christian Assembly matches system impacted kids with screened, trained and caring volunteer mentors from our church. Volunteers work one-on-one with children, once a week (under the supervision of staff) at local LAUSD elementary schools to give students positive attention and support during critical formative years when values are formed, self-esteem is developed, and academic skills are acquired. Mentors go through an extensive vetting process and receive training in honoring the separation of church and state.

Our Goal Is Simple:
To intervene in the lives of elementary students with “no strings attached” and become agents of transformation, affirmation, and hope!
Kids Hope USA is a national program that is active in over 1,000 schools and 40 states.
